Game Recap

The Eagles traveled to St Agnes for a intra-section match-up to kick off a busy week of basketball, but came out on the wrong end of a 66-51 loss.

The Eagles started slowly and trailed by as many as 15 in the first half before cutting the deficit to 8 at the break. A 12-3 run at the start of the second half gave the Eagles their only lead of the game, at 36-35, before the Aggies went on a big run of their own on their way to a 15 point victory.

The Eagles were led by Freshman Carly Hager with 14 points, including 4-3 pointers, as the Eagles had 5-3 pointers and were 12-16 from the line, but too many turnovers doomed them on this night.

Next Up: The conference tournament begins tomorrow night at Heritage Christian.
